Human Resources is an important function for an organization. HR is the
"frontline" for recruiting, hiring and ensuring the perception and actuality
of fairness, as well as, the prospect of personal growth and success for
employees.
HR is a profit enabler not a cost center.
Recruiting, hiring, job descriptions for clear direction, performance
management for feedback and the basis for compensation and
promotion/retention decisions, policy design and administration and training
are all essential aspects of the infrastructure of an organization. When HR
is part of the Executive Team the company is more likely to be successful
This website is dedicated to one of the prime HR tenets; you should not have
to learn by making mistakes. There are a lot of things that have been tried
and worked or tried and failed (providing learning opportunities) that we
can all share.
I have 35 years experience as a Human Resources, Organizational Development,
Training and Performance Management professional. In my "third career" I
learned and taught Six Sigma. So I have included Process Management
information, tools and articles too.
On this website you will find some examples, helpful advice and an
opportunity to ask HR and Process Management questions and receive
practical, frank answers.
Check out the sections you are interested in (see drop down menu above).
There are many HR Management sites today, but none has the practical
bottom-line emphasis this one does.
